Never Angeline Nørth, aka , aka Møss Høpe Ångel, fka Moss Angel the Undying, fka Moss Angel Witchmonstr, fka Sara June Woods, fka Sara Woods, fka is a polynymous multi-media artist/writer/musician/tattooist/craftworker/etc living in the pacific northwest. Her work deals with dogs, the way things break when you bend them, Judaism, magic, the aesthetics of mess, """gender""", the boundaries we erect for ourselves & others, the boundaries others erect for us, erections in general, reality & perception, rats, religion, time as a construct, systems of power & control, our hearts, communication, """nature""", anal, & death. In 2019 she was shortlisted for the Tarpaulin Sky Book Award, and pieces of hers were selected to be included in Best American Experimental Writing 2020. She has a BA in English from Indiana University and an MLS in Library & Information Science, also from Indiana University. She has been published widely, in magazines such as Puerto del Sol, Guernica, Denver Quarterly, Gulf Coast, DIAGRAM, Black Warror Review and many others. She was selected for a scholarship to attend Bindercon 2015 and in late 2013 was a resident writer at The Parlor, an experimental theater space in Chicago, IL, where she curated a series of multimedia performances by local writers titled Someone Has Put Cries of Birds on the Air Like Jewels. She is formerly founder and editor of Love Symbol Press, as well as the literary magazines Skydeer Helpking and Red Lightbulbs. She is formerly the curator of POETRY MADE OF DIAMONDS, a reading series based at Uncharted Books in Chicago in the early 2010s. She currently works at a non-profit facilitating support groups for queer and trans teens. She was born in Evansville, Indiana in 1984 & now lives with her girlfriend, her girlfriend's boyfriend and an eyeless dog in a duplex on Nisqually/Squaxin land that is often referred to as Olympia, Washington.
